Adding the Trexity block to the order page

Add the Trexity panel to your Shopify order details page.

The Trexity block (the panel that shows live delivery status, Print label, Cancel, and other actions) is enabled by default when you install the app. This article covers what to do if it’s missing or you customised it away.

What the block is

A panel that appears on every Shopify order details page. It shows:

  • Current delivery status (e.g. “Scheduled”, “Out for delivery”, “Delivered”).
  • A primary action button that adapts to the shipment state (Print label, Cancel, Put on hold, Skip batching, I need more time, Prepare, etc.).
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses and times.
  • Driver name and ETA once the courier is assigned.
  • Proof of delivery photos after the delivery is complete.
  • Trexity support phone number while the delivery is active.

When to do this

You only need this article if the Trexity panel isn’t showing on your order details pages. By default it appears for every Trexity order automatically.

Adding the block

  1. Open any order in Shopify Admin.
  2. In the top-right of the order page, click the ⋯ (three-dot) menu.
  3. Choose Customize. The page enters edit mode with a sidebar showing available blocks.
  4. Find Trexity in the App blocks section of the sidebar.
  5. Drag the Trexity block onto the order page where you want it (most merchants put it in the right column).
  6. Click Save in the top-right.

The block now appears on every Shopify order details page in your admin.

Moving or removing the block

Same flow — open any order, click ⋯ → Customize, then drag the block to a new location or click the block and choose Remove.

Removing the block hides the panel but does not affect Trexity deliveries themselves. Auto-create, status sync, tags, and bulk actions on the orders list all still work. Re-add the block any time.

What the block looks like for non-Trexity orders

Orders that don’t have a Trexity delivery (e.g. shipped via USPS) show a small “No Trexity delivery on this order” placeholder. This is harmless and intentional — it confirms the block is installed and working for orders that simply don’t need it.

Common questions

“I removed the block by mistake. Will deliveries still happen?” Yes. The block is the user interface for managing deliveries; it isn’t what creates them. Re-add the block when you want to see and control deliveries from the order page again.

“Can I add it to the order index (list) page?” The Trexity block is for the order details page. For the orders list page, see the bulk actions in Printing labels and Cancelling deliveries.

“Can my staff use the block without Shopify admin access?” Block visibility follows the staff member’s normal Shopify permissions. If they can see the order, they can see the Trexity block on it. Action buttons (cancel, post, etc.) call the Trexity API on the merchant’s behalf.
